CINEAST: Filmmakers platform to showcase their work
CINEAST offers filmmakers a platform to showcase their work.
CINEAST screening of Chris Petit’s excellent Channel 4 documentary screening took place at the charming east end cinema, ‘The Rio’ in Dalston and was run in conjunction with ‘The Film Shop’.

There was an impressive turnout to see the film and the audience were lucky to see the rarely screened short Dead TV and a QnA with the director.

The QnA was provided by WDF Productions.

Two inspiring entrepreneurs – Rachel Elnaugh and Julie Meyer talk about business…
Continuing our work of promoting London Metropolitan University, two recent videos include Rachel Elnaugh of Dragon’s Den fame and Julie Meyer of Ariadne Capital imparting their experience and inspiring budding student entrepreneurs into the business world.

WDF Productions filmed their impressive presentations in full, for DVD viewing and supplied short video interviews for online distribution.

The Invisible One
A great interview with the best selling author of The Tenderness of Wolves. Stef Penney gives an insightful introduction to her forthcoming ‘book noir’, The Invisible Ones. Which we’ve starting reading and it’s a real atmospheric page turner. Out in September 2011 by Quercus books.

A Cake Masterclass
As part of our work for food lovers, we completed a couple of short films promoting Mich Turner of the Little Venice Cake Company’s new book, Cake Masterclass.

The films not only promote the book but give the viewer instructions on how to bake an expert fruitcake and craft sugar roses for decoration.

Adios Amigo
Our production manager Chris has gone on to produce a short film for the capital’s premier film resource, Film London. The short drama Victims will be shot soon and features cast members such as Hattie Morahan (Outnumbered, Sense and Sensibility) and Briana Corrigan (The Beautiful South).

The film will be distributed in the UK and internationally and begin its life by appearing in various film festivals.

Good luck with it Chris.
